On Love Quietly- A February Series

As February is winding down, there’s no big feeling waiting at the end of it.
No final realization.
No spotlight suddenly shining down like they do in movies and TV shows to show that everything is in place.
Just that quiet awareness.
After a month heavily inspired by love– in all its presences, absence, tenderness and weight–what we’re left with isn’t clarity.
But something smaller.

“No answers. Just noticing”
What’s remaining is the habit of pausing.
Recognizing the moments that don’t need announcing– the steady, ordinary ones–that don’t ask to be named.
The same way care shows up quietly.
The way longing doesn’t always need resolution.
The way gentleness is able to exist without the demand for an audience.
Love, as it turns out, doesn’t demand to be understood all at once.
Sometimes it just wants acknowledgement.

This month won’t change anything overnight.
But it may have shifted the way I look at the space between the moments–and strangely, that feels like enough.
Love isn’t always floating around like feelings.
Sometimes it appears with multiple covers.
As Patience.
As Consistency.
As Staying.
As letting things be Unfinished .

“And maybe that’s what remains– The noticing”
If you’ve read along this month–quiety, occasionally, or till the end–Thank you.
Not for being in agreement.
Not even for your understanding in everything.
Just simply for being here.
I hope you carry forward with whatever feels right and can try to leave the rest behind.
More soon Clawlings!
